Q: I noticed you sell used book. Do you accept resales?
A: While we do sell used books, we would rather encourage our customers to give their post-read books to others for free via Free Little Libraries . This helps promote reading and offer books to others who can't afford new OR used books.
Q: Why is there an option for leaving a tip?
A: Every tip donation goes straight to our Book Fling project where we provide free books to local youth.
Q: How can I ask my boss to host an “affair”?
A: Here’s a digital flyer (coming soon) with information about hosting events. We’d love for you to share it with any potential venues. You can also share contacts with us and our marketing department will reach out via email.
Q: What type of promotional materials do you provide?
A: After you schedule an event, you will be provided with 2 yard signs, 1 banner, and digital flyers to share.
Q: How much time will I have to invest in an affair?
A: Setting up the event sounds time consuming but really isn't! The bookshelves are pre-stocked so all you have to do is take down the supply containers, open up the shelves, and set out additional merchandise. This along with setting up signs and banners takes around 15 minutes. During the event, someone should be available and nearby and will restock shelves as needed and handle transactions. (Our point of sale system is portable making it easier to check out any customers. If you have a front desk, this would be an ideal spot.) At the end of your event, packing up is easy and takes about 15 minutes as well.
